Freelancer (2014-2019)
I was a full-stack android developer throughout my bachelors'. Here are some of my widely successful projects that I published as a freelancer. Note that they are not maintained anymore.
Saramad Antivirus
At its peak, Saramad boasted over 160,000 active local users. Serving as an antivirus package, it provided comprehensive protection against unsafe applications and social engineering tactics. Much of its application analysis was conducted offline, predominantly static, and occasionally involved the examination of arm-based assembly codes.
Hamyar
Created as part of the Software Project course, Hamyar enabled Farsi-speaking individuals with visual impairments to utilize smartphones for various tasks such as making calls to both contacts and non-contacts, receiving updates on banking transactions, and more. Essentially, Hamyar operated as a finite state machine resembling a kiosk, presenting touch-controlled options to cater to diverse user needs.
JourneyJotter
An application designed to assist individuals who struggle with interpreting maps by providing them with detailed verbal directions to their specified destination, based solely on an address input. Developed with the support of Google's API, this app offers a user-friendly solution for navigation challenges.
Smart Ram Optimizer
Developed during early stages of android, this app was designed to optimize the amount of ram used by other applications running in the background. This feature later was integrated into the operating system.
HandsFreeChat
This app provides an option for those who don't want to send voice messages. Instead, they can speak into the microphone to send text messages.
Ammeter
A unique accessory that empowered android users to roughly estimate the amount of current passing through a wire by monitoring the changes in magnetic fields near the device.
Cartoon Windmill Live Wallpaper
Developed back in the era of android 2.1, this live wallpaper brough life to a rather gloomy ecosystem of Android. The wallpaper had 3 modes of sunset, noon and night.
Talk To me
This app was a small Persian chatbot developed using regular expression rules. This chatbot could also speak utilizing a simple text to speech engine.
